Special Education

Jeehdeez’a Elementary School students with special needs thrive in our inclusive learning environment. The special education program provides professional evaluations to determine a student’s need for classroom and/or testing accommodations. We tailor your child’s learning process to address and resolve any physical, emotional, and learning difficulty.

Our dedicated specialists meet with teachers and parents/guardians to design Individualized Education Plans. IEPs support students by framing and detailing the learning strategies and resources that will help the student overcome limitations and continue meeting grade standards. Every student is afforded equal opportunity to participate in all classroom activities.

Inclusion means students will not be removed for entire class periods to engage in auxiliary learning services. Special education services allow students to remain active participants in all classroom functions. Jeehdeez’a Elementary School is dedicated to creating an exciting educational experience for all students. Our special education program ensures that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
