Library at Jeehdeez’a Elementary School

The Jeehdeez’a Elementary School Library is an academic space full of exploration and discovery. Students gather in the library for independent and community learning opportunities to explore new reading materials, and discover new stories, subjects and worlds. As the school’s center of knowledge and information, our library provides academic enrichment to help develop students’ lifelong learning habits.

We are proud of our peaceful and organized library environment that students, teachers, and families can enjoy. We ask that all visitors follow these library rules:

  • Bring all materials needed before entering the library.
  • No food or drinks.
  • Speak quietly.
  • No running or horseplay.
  • Keep the library clean.
  • Return books to designated areas.
  • Keep reference materials, magazines and newspapers inside the library.

Jeehdeez’a Elementary School community visits the library for research, study, electronic media access, communication, and language and literacy skills enhancement. Our library helps turn our young scholars into critical thinkers, problem solvers, and future Navajo leaders.
